GO Car Warranty Launches New Absolute Car Warranty Product

Car Repairs The British based provider of online car warranties, GO Car Warranty and just announced that is teaming up with Kwik Fit and will soon be launching the newly named "Absolute Car Warranty Package".

The new product will be able to give car owners not only car warranty protected but MOT insurance and MOT test and service to boot. The absolute product will be available now from only £399.

The Go Car Warranty Absolute product is particularly unique to the car warranty market since in will bring together their highest level of warranty with an MOT and service from its new partner Kwik-fit. The latter also includes MOT insurance which covers part failures discovered during the MOT by the Kwik Fit mechanics.

Brits put off getting cars repaired

Car Repairs It has been recently claimed that the British are putting off much needed repairs to their cars.

This is from the leading Exhaust, Tyre and insurance company Kwik Fit, who in a report say that 1 in 7 car insurance policy holders have not had their cars looked at by a mechanic in order to save money.

Further to this their findings state that up to a third of Brits who have not had their cars looked at when they have had a problem have ended up over the last 6 months paying more than it might have originally cost.

17 Year old Car insuranceTrying to get car insurance for a 17 year old right now, is extremely hard. Quite frankly the costs can be enormous - one answer to this problem is to go on mum or dad insurance policy as a named driver with the goal of building some driving experience.

Car Insurance Rates Rise by 40%

AA Car insuranceAccording to the AA, Car insurance premiums have risen by what is thought to be the fastest rate ever. In the past 12 months average rates across insurers have gone up by around 40%.

The AA states that the average fully comp policy is now £892, with third party, fire and theft policy averagign at £1,533.

On a brighter note, the AA thinks that even though premiums will keep on rising, the rate of this increase will slow down for the remainder of the year.

Co-op Car insurance This week Co-Operative Insurance have launched a scheme that might mean significant insurance premium reductions for younger drivers that are prepared to have their driving recorded.

Depending on the young drivers behaviour and driving style things like acceleration, speed and braking different discounts will be applied - meaning lower premiums for more careful younger drivers.
